Happy Spring! Welcome to the 38th season of the Downtown Palo Alto Farmers’ Market. We look forward to seeing you, our farmers and food artisans all together again for another season of abundance – local, fresh, beautiful, and tasty.
Every year, the start of the Season reminds me how much we have to be thankful for — in addition to all the delicious foods. We look forward to seeing familiar faces, renewing old friendships, and forming new ones. We look forward to another season of fun, including our weekly music and our annual Customer Appreciation Day raffle. We look forward to another season of sharing with our community — whether it’s donating our proceeds to the Avenidas senior center, providing a community service destination for high school student volunteers, or our farmers’ generous sharing of leftover produce with people less fortunate than ourselves. The Market is about Food and Community together; it always has been and always will be!
We are located in the parking lots on Gilman St and Hamilton Ave from 8 AM – Noon, rain or shine.
We are a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, proudly serving our community since 1981. Our goal then, and still today, is to connect local farmers with our community by providing direct access to fresh and locally produced foods. All proceeds from the operation of the Market are donated to Avenidas, a community group for older adults. To date, our community donations total over $500,000.
